Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Credential Verification in Richmond, CA to safeguard clients across transportation and other sectors. You will verify credentials, monitor access points, and respond to security concerns while delivering professional customer service within our collaborative culture.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling with day and evening shifts. A TSA TWIC and a high school diploma are required, with prior access-control or badge experience

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and transportation personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the transportation terminal by verifying credentials, authorizations, deliveries, and visitor entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access logs and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, incidents, and facility concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, terminal areas, business operations, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
