Job summary

Allied Universal in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Access Control. You will manage entry points, verify badges, monitor activity, and provide clear, professional communication to employees, drivers, and guests.

The role offers a flexible schedule with part-time shifts and opportunities to explore new shifts via our Claim a Shift platform. Requirements include security experience, a high school diploma, and background check compliance.

Qualifications

Six months of security-related experience required.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Guard card or license preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while following site procedures.
Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and documenting entries/exits.
Screen incoming vehicles, drivers, and deliveries per site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as needed.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, shipping/receiving areas, and perimeters.
