Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Memphis, TN to protect clients across industries including Logistics & Distribution. As a Part-Time Access Control Officer, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions. This role offers a flexible schedule under our Claim a Shift platform, with a pay rate of $17.39 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• License requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and facility personnel using access-control procedures and site policies.
• Verify identification and authorization; issue visitor credentials and maintain access logs.
• Screen vehicles and coordinate deliveries, pickups, and restricted-area access with site personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and security concerns, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized activity.
