Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer specialized in Digital Access Logs for the Minooka, IL area. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role offers flexible day/evening shifts and opportunities to grow within a leading security and facility services company. Prior security experience not required but preferred, with a focus on safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials and issuing access badges.
• Observe inbound/outbound activity at entry points; report unauthorized access and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following site procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, docks, and perimeter areas.
