As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, maintain records, and help create a welcoming, safe environment while supporting a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform.

You will patrol, respond calmly to incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures and emergency activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, yards, loading areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities and incidents and inform site management and leadership.
