Job summary

Allied Universal in New Columbia, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer for badge administration. You will manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor entry points, and deliver customer service in a manufacturing/industrial setting. Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Background check may be required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, processing entries, and directing authorized individuals.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, production-area access routes, and perimeter to identify security concerns.
• Support deliveries, shipping and receiving traffic, restricted areas, and employee access.
