The University of Virginia's Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine, seeks multiple academic hospitalists to join a growing practice of more than 40 physicians within the UVA Health System. Teaching opportunities in our residency program and medical school are abundant.

Qualifications

• MD or DO and board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine by start date.
• Academic hospital medicine focus with potential leadership opportunities.
• Research not required for these positions.

Responsabilités

• Traditional academic hospitalist with 182 shifts/year (prorated for FTE) and a mix of direct care and co-management.
• Involvement in teaching opportunities in residency program and medical school.
• Background check and pre-employment health/drug screening; exempt position with benefits.
