Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Learning Services Assistant for the Morgan Academic Center (MAC) at University Park. This part-time, 10-month position offers up to 25 hours per week with evenings and Sundays possible, at $23/hour (non-negotiable).

Responsibilities include one-on-one academic support, skill-building in study areas, and progress monitoring with regular reporting. The role emphasizes integrity, respect, and confidentiality within NCAA and university policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one academic support to student-athletes with tailored plans.
• Enhance learning in goal setting, time management, organization, and study skills.
• Monitor progress and schedule weekly appointments with students.
• Write session reports and participate in professional development trainings.
• Assist MAC staff with tutoring, mentoring and educational sessions.
• Maintain communication with supervisor, MAC colleagues, and partners.
