Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care in Springfield, IL is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to provide ABA therapy for children with autism. Training will be provided to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

You will join a therapy team delivering customized treatment plans and supporting improved client quality of life, with potential access to medical benefits for those who qualify.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavioral Technician Certification preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Two+ years experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Reliable transportation and insurance.
• Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in homes and/or community settings.
• Provide 1:1 therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities in home or community settings.
• Implement treatment goals under supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
• Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to supervisor.
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals.
• Track client progress and program data.
• Observe confidentiality and safeguard all patient-related information.
