Job summary

Heartland Behavior is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one ABA services in clients' homes or community locations in the Kansas City area. You will implement skill-building and care plans as part of a collaborative clinical team, recording data and fostering family engagement.

Ideal candidates will hold an RBT certification, have high school completion, and demonstrate patience, empathy, and a calm approach in challenging situations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• RBT certification is required before working.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
