Job summary

Heartland-Aba-1 is seeking a Behavior Technician to help empower children with Autism in home or community settings. You will deliver ABA-based interventions, supporting independence and positive behavior while collaborating with a clinical team.

No prior experience is required as paid training is provided. Positions start part-time, with flexible afternoon/evening hours and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in ABA and child development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Reliable transportation to visits to clients' homes or community sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and providers to enhance treatment effectiveness.
