Job summary

Capac Community Schools is seeking a 7th Grade Girls Basketball Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time position reports to the Athletic Director/Dean of Students and begins with the 2026-2027 season.

Responsibilities include teaching fundamental basketball skills, planning off-season training, maintaining open communication with parents and student-athletes, promoting sportsmanship and school spirit, and collaborating with staff.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Clear criminal history check, physical, and drug test required; first aid.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental basketball skills and team concepts.
• Plan and coordinate off-season and pre-season training.
• Maintain open communication with parents and student-athletes.
