Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Euless, TX is seeking a 3rd-year Pharmacy Intern for a part-time, on-site role. You will work under a pharmacist, applying school learning to real-world practice, support pharmacy operations, and contribute to safe, patient-centered care.

Expect exposure to immunizations, counseling, and teamwork in a busy retail setting. Position requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited program and ability to work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure as required.
• Part-time availability including nights and weekends.
• Ability to travel to stores in the market as needed by the business.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy workflow at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel, field medical questions, and solicit patient information under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Take telephonic prescriptions from the prescriber and clarify prescriptions when allowed by state regulation.
• Maintain basic inventory activities and assist with cycle counts and returns-to-stocks.
• Support immunizations and other patient health care services where allowable by law and training.
• Protect patient privacy and ensure compliance with CVS policies and procedures.
