Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is seeking a General Labor member for the third shift at our Friendship, NY facility. This part-time role focuses on production support, packaging, and maintaining clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced dairy environment.

You will follow SOPs, assist with equipment changeovers, document production records, and collaborate with teams while upholding Saputo’s safety and quality standards. Strong attendance and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of work experience.
• Preferred: experience in food manufacturing or warehousing.
• Strong math and computer skills; SAP a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient production support (hand-stacking, case packing, housekeeping, product conveying, reclaim).
• Follow SOPs precisely and report out-of-specification conditions.
• Set up packaging coders and validate product codes.
• Operate a lift truck safely to move materials.
• Complete production records accurately and neatly.
• Assist with equipment changeovers, CIP/SIP, cleanup and setup.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain clean work areas.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments.
