Job summary

McFarland Villa Assisted Living is actively seeking a Part-Time 2nd Shift Caregiver with rotating weekends to join our team. The caregiver will support residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence.

We value compassionate service, reliability, and teamwork. Required and preferred qualifications include HS diploma or GED and CPR certification; prior caregiving experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits a positive customer service attitude, approachable and helpful.
• Represents the facility professionally with residents and families.
• Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality with minimal supervision.
• Communicates clearly, listens actively, and reports concerns promptly to the team.

About the Opportunity

The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

• Displays personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
• Demonstrates consistent work attendance as scheduled and addresses work related problems with the proper individuals.

Preferred Qualifications
