Job summary

VRChat is seeking a part-time Contract 2D designer to craft storefront art, marketing graphics, and in-world assets. You will create store thumbnails, bundle visuals, and platform-specific graphics, while maintaining brand integrity across sizes and formats.

The ideal candidate has a portfolio spanning 2D work, marketing graphics, and UI or storefront components, with experience exporting for storefronts and social channels. Collaboration and fast feedback are key in this role.

Qualifications

• Portfolio with 2D work including marketing graphics and UI/storefront assets.
• Experience designing for small sizes and multiple formats (icons, thumbnails, mobile).
• Ability to work within an existing brand while giving pieces their own character.
• Experience exporting to platform specs for stores and social channels.
• Clear communication and ability to handle quick feedback and changing priorities.
• Tidy file habits: organized, layered source files.
• Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Create storefront art and store bundle graphics.
• Design marketing graphics, social posts, blog headers, and platform assets.
• Produce in-app banners and event graphics with UI-friendly visuals.
• Create signage and textures for in-world environments.
• Ensure assets meet platform specs and size requirements.
