Job summary

A local educational institution is seeking a part-time Alternate Academic Special Programs One-on-One Paraprofessional to support special education students at Eastside Elementary. This role assists teachers with implementing plans, collecting data on student progress, and maintaining classroom management. Must be highly qualified, with a minimum of 48 college hours, an AA degree, or passing the ParaPro test. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and positive interpersonal skills, working up to 29 hours per week, 9 months a year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing teacher's plans for students.
• Collect data on individual student's IEP goals.
• Facilitate supervision and classroom management.
• Assist with individual student hygiene when appropriate.
• Prepare classroom materials for instructional programs.
