Job summary

The Bolivar-Richburg Central School District is seeking a TEACHER AIDE for a 1:1 assignment at the Belmont BOCES Center in Belmont, NY. The position is 3.5 hours per day in the 11:00am–2:30pm slot, starting October 21, 2026, with starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

The Teacher Aide will support students' daily living skills, behavioral needs, and classroom activities under the supervision of teachers, including clerical tasks and supervision in various settings. A valid SED clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent; training or experience helpful.
• Ability to read and write English; good judgment and tact.
• Must be able to support students with daily living and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in small groups or one-on-one with students.
• Support classrooms with materials, attendance, and routine tasks.
• Supervise students in multiple settings (classroom, hall, lunchroom, bus).
• Assist in feeding, toileting, and daily living activities as needed.
• Provide clerical support under teacher supervision.
