DEFINITION:
Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Behavior Assistant will provide support one to one to a student with behavioral issues. The Behavior Assistant will implement comprehensive positive behavioral support plans and effective behavior management strategies; deliver instructions; participate as a member of the educational team, and help design and implement all components of the student's individual program.

Belmont Elementary School is located in Belmont, New Hampshire, which is in the central part of the state in the Lakes Region. The school has approximately 330 students in pre-school through grade four and 75 staff members. Belmont Elementary School strives to create a highly integrated curriculum for our students.
