AutoZone’s Store Management team drives store performance, fosters a productive team, and ensures exceptional customer service. As a Parts Sales Manager, you’ll lead by example, drive sales, and mentor a high-performing team within our automotive retail network in Illinois.

You’ll work under the Store Manager to supervise operations, handle inventory, and deliver WOW service while advancing your leadership career in a dynamic, essential industry that keeps customers on the road.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and team development experience in retail.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and staff.
  • Experience tracking sales metrics, inventory, and KPIs.
  • Ability to follow store procedures and manage cash handling.
  • Knowledge of PPE and safety standards.
  • Experience supporting commercial accounts and hub operations.
  • ASE Certification preferred.

  • Process Orientation – Follow structured store procedures, manage inventory, oversee cash handling, control shrink and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Teamwork – Work collaboratively with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain seamless operations and customer service excellence.
  • Parts Sales & Inventory Management – Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely returns processing and merchandising.
  • Safety & Compliance – Enforce PPE use, promote risk management practices, and uphold company safety standards.
  • Commercial Account Support – Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
  • Problem Solving – Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues swiftly, always upholding company policies.
