ABOUT THE POSITION

With over 430 retail stores worldwide, our associates are essential to our business. From ensuring product availability on the sales floor to creating eye-catching visual displays, addressing customer inquiries, and running an efficient checkout process, our associates create memorable customer experiences while supporting Columbia Sportswear Company's mission of "Connecting Active People with Their Passions."

As a Retail Associate, you will represent our Company, Brands, and products to our consumers. You will serve customers, share product information, and help them find products that meet their needs. Retail Associates support the flow of products into the store and onto the sales floor to ensure product representation and accessibility. You will contribute to store profitability through accurate and efficient processes and support the Store Leadership team in our mission.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Maintain store and visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety standards; restock merchandise from inventory locations.
• Perform cash register transactions accurately and efficiently; connect consumers to loyalty programs.
• Contribute to store profitability by managing incoming and outgoing products.
• Respond to customer questions regarding product features, benefits, and availability; assist with buying decisions.
• Acquire knowledge about products, policies, procedures, and programs to support daily operations.

YOU HAVE

• No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years or less of experience in a related position.
• Experience interacting with and serving customers.
• Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail software tools.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

JOB CONDITIONS

• Active environment requiring movement; may involve physical tasks and exposure to dust and noise.
• Occasional work in various locations.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, adapting to seasonal and business needs.
