Full-time & Part-time Hours

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As an Assisting Hands CHHA or Live-in caregiver, you’ll develop close relationships with your clients while assisting with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders

Qualifications & Education:

High School Diploma/GED required. One (1) year experience in home or long-term care preferred. Current HHA license in good standing or we offer certification courses.

Primary Duties:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment at the client’s residence
• Perform personal care activities as per Plan of Care
• Provide nutritional support and report changes in condition
• Assist with mobility devices and prescribed exercises
• Teach household routines, measure health metrics, and keep health records
• Assist with medication self-administration
• Follow infection control policies and agency procedures

Hours:

Dependent on assignment; shifts available 24/7, based on availability. Hours are not guaranteed.
