Job summary

JSfirm, LLC is seeking a Part 107 Ground Support Operator to support daily operations for an advanced drone delivery program in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role focuses on setup, inspections, and field servicing to ensure safe and smooth drone operations.

You will perform nest setup, pre- and post-flight checks, equipment maintenance per the UAS manual, and real-time coordination with the Flight Operations Center. Strong communication and ability to work outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 certification (current and valid).
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up nests prior to operations and ensure readiness for the day.
• Perform daily aircraft and flight-line checks, pre-/post-flight inspections.
• Follow UAS maintenance procedures per the maintenance manual.
• Check and monitor nest equipment before/during/after operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nest boundary.
• Replace or reset operational equipment as directed.
• Participate in daily team briefs and operational updates.
• Maintain real-time communication with the Flight Operations Center.
• Respond to field service tasks promptly and professionally.
• Assist during minor emergencies and report issues to the FOM.
• Visually monitor airspace and report hazards to the PIC.
• Monitor weather and airspace conditions; report critical info.
• Detect and report obstacles or hazards and verify locations.
