Job summary

Dallas City Hall seeks a Superintendent for Parks and Recreation to lead the division, translating Director directives into programs and projects. You will direct strategic planning, accreditation efforts, and department-wide performance initiatives, ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required in Accounting, Finance, or Management.
7 years of strategic planning and project management experience; 4 years supervisory experience.
Texas Driver's License required.
Equivalency rules allow alternative combinations of education/experience to meet requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee implementation of strategic initiatives for the Parks and Recreation Department.
Manage real estate development across the park system and oversee revenues and land acquisition.
Administer CAPRA Accreditation process and ensure compliance with NRPA standards.
Lead performance measurement, quality assurance, and process improvements.
Represent the department in meetings, hearings, and board activities.
