Job summary

City of Clearwater is seeking a Parks Service Supervisor I to lead the maintenance and repair of the city’s parks, playgrounds, and public amenities. You will supervise park technicians, coordinate crews, and monitor contracts to ensure quality and timely performance.

This role requires a valid Florida driver's license, at least three years as a laborer in grounds care, and one year in a lead or supervisory capacity; an equivalent combination may be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising park crews and coordinating maintenance tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and vendors.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervises park technicians and schedules work across parks sites.
• Manages contracts for landscape, irrigation, and related services.
• Monitors safety, training, and performance; conducts reviews.
• Coordinates with vendors and coordinates equipment and supplies.
• Maintains records of staff, payroll, and time cards.
• Ensures quality and timely completion of projects.
