The City of Wylie's Parks Division is seeking seasonal Maintenance Workers. The selected applicants will perform seasonal duties related to maintenance as assigned. This is a temporary seasonal position working at various times throughout the year. Supervision is provided by Parks staff.
This position works 40 hours per week, which consists of four ten hour days per week.
Must be 17 years of age or older. High School Diploma or equivalent if over 17 years of age. Familiarity with operation and minor maintenance of the equipment and ability to perform routine maintenance as requested. Valid Driver License. Must have Texas Driver License within 60 days of hire. Must have a clear driving record. Completion of National Incident Management System (NIMS) training courses as outlined by Emergency Management after hire.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH REQUIRED:
High: Exerting 50-100 pounds occasionally, 25-50 pounds frequently or 10-20 pounds constantly.
