Job summary

Pierce County Parks and Recreation seeks a dedicated Parks Maintenance Technician to join the Spanaway Park team. The role supports daily operations, maintenance of grounds, and ongoing improvement projects across Spanaway and Small Parks.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of work experience in maintenance, landscaping, or related parks management areas.

Responsibilities

• Drives equipment and transports materials across park grounds.
• Performs grounds maintenance: weeding, mowing, fertilizing, spraying, and related tasks.
• Repairs and maintains facilities and equipment including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, irrigation, and HVAC systems.
• Performs interior and exterior custodial services as needed.
• Supports daily operations at Spanaway Park and Small Parks.
