Hamilton County seeks a dedicated individual for cleaning, maintenance, and landscaping duties within County parks. The role involves physical tasks and requires a valid Class B CDL license. Applicants must be prepared for varied outdoor conditions and potential overtime.
Under close supervision, performs a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and landscaping duties within County parks, including buildings, grounds, facilities, campsites, ballparks, and recreation sites.
These include tasks related to cleaning, maintenance, and landscaping, as well as physical requirements, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics. This list is illustrative only and not comprehensive.
This position is classified as safety sensitive under 49 CFR Part 40. It is subject to drug and alcohol testing post-offer, upon reasonable cause, after accidents, randomly, after suspensions, and follow-up, according to the Employee Handbook rules.
Work involves moderate physical effort, including walking, standing, sitting, and driving. Frequent activities include standing, talking, hearing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Work is often outdoors in various weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and may involve exposure to chemicals, fumes, and noise.
