Greater Harris is seeking a Parks Crew Leader in Tomball, TX to plan, schedule and oversee municipal park maintenance teams. You will supervise crews, ensure safety, and maintain aesthetics across parks and facilities.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of irrigation systems, and the ability to operate mowers, bucket trucks, and other equipment. The city emphasizes outdoor work and coordination with the Streets Department.

Qualifications

• Education: HS/GED required.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in park/grounds maintenance.
• Certifications: CPR required.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and scheduling for maintenance crews.
• Ensure bathrooms are cleaned, trash removed, and supplies stocked.
• Oversee mowing, weed-eating, and edging of park grounds.
• Operate equipment such as mowers, edgers, bucket truck, chainsaw.
• Identify water leaks and address irrigation issues.
• Ensure safe drainage and address tripping hazards.
• Maintain records and communicate progress to superiors.
