Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least five years' experience in general park grounds and facility maintenance.
• Missouri CDL Class A license with air brakes is required.
• Ability to work in extreme weather, lift up to 100 pounds, and operate heavy park equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily work and schedule for the maintenance crew.
• Train, instruct, and enforce safe work practices; supervise in the absence of the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of daily work, equipment, and worksites.
• Inspect progress and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance and operate park equipment as needed.
• Set up and tear down for city events and manage public relations with park patrons.
