The City of Austin is seeking a Parks Grounds Specialist to maintain and improve citywide trail infrastructure and parks facilities. The role requires operating a range of equipment and tools and assisting the public, with leadership duties possible for the right candidate.
Work location is Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park. Schedule runs Monday to Friday 6:30am–3:00pm, with possible evenings, weekends, and special events.
About This Position
Under general supervision, this position performs specialized maintenance, construction, and/or grounds keeping tasks in and around park grounds and recreational facilities.

$22.63 - $25.46 per hour.
Other Information:
Travel: If you are selected for this position and meet the Driver Safety Standards in the City of Austin Driver Safety Program, you will drive when necessary to multiple locations as part of your regular job duties. Otherwise, you are responsible for getting to and from these locations.
