Job summary

CITY OF RICHMOND seeks a maintenance worker to perform general upkeep at city parks, facilities, and grounds under supervision. Key duties include landscaping, cleaning, minor repairs, and operating a range of maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains buildings, grounds, fields, and facilities.
• Cleans rest rooms and collects trash; handles seasonal opening/closing.
• Inspects/maintains facilities and equipment; performs minor repairs.
• Maintains Downtown area and City building; cleans and does basic repairs.
• Operates various trucks/equipment and power tools as needed.
• Assists with other projects and general maintenance tasks.
