Join Our Team as a Part-Time Gate Attendant with Allen County Parks at Fox Island!

Do you love the outdoors and enjoy interacting with people? Allen County Parks is looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Gate Attendant to welcome visitors, provide information, and help keep our parks running smoothly!

Flexible Schedule: Nights, weekends, and holidays required (24 hours/week).
Work in a Beautiful Setting: Spend your days in nature while assisting park guests.
Engaging Role: Greet visitors, handle admissions, sell park passes, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

What You'll Do:

Welcome and assist park guests with admissions and information.
Sell and process annual park passes.
Keep the entrance area clean and safe.
Lock gates at closing and respond calmly to emergencies.
Educate visitors about Allen County Parks.

What We're Looking For:

People Person: Strong customer service skills.
Attention to Detail: Ability to handle transactions accurately.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using a cash register, computer, phone, and two-way radio.
Local Enthusiast: Knowledge of Allen County Parks is a plus!
Physically Capable: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, bend, reach, and be outdoors in various weather conditions.
