The City of Millbrook is seeking a maintenance worker to perform a variety of maintenance, repair and beautification projects across city facilities.

Duties include mowing, trimming shrubs, and using power and hand tools in all weather conditions; a high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required. Candidates should be able to follow written and oral instructions and work independently or as part of a crew.

Descripción del empleo

This position requires both light and heavy physical labor in a wide variety of maintenance, repair and beautification projects throughout the jurisdiction. The work involves cutting grass and trimming shrubbery with power, push and riding lawn mowers and power tools; rake and trim grounds around various buildings of the City. This position involves working in various weather conditions.

Applicants must have working knowledge of hand and power tools, be able to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods under various weather conditions as well as be able to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions.

Qualifications include high school graduate or equivalent and the ability to perform heavy manual labor. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
