Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Rock Steady Boxing Program Director in Largo, FL to manage all operations of the Rock Steady Boxing program for residents with Parkinson’s disease. You will develop curricula, coordinate schedules, and build community partnerships to promote active participation and improve quality of life.

You will also supervise volunteers, coordinate education on PD, and ensure safe, compliant gym operations while supporting marketing efforts with the Regional Sales

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or minimum two years of related work experience.
• Willing to attend Rock Steady Boxing coaches certification (virtual or in person).
• Working knowledge of physical and cognitive disabilities; knowledge of PD preferred.
• Certifications in personal training and/or exercise science preferred.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop level-specific curriculums for boxing-based PD activities and progression.
• Create and demonstrate workout activities to promote RSB in the community.
• Administer required assessments and track boxer progress.
• Develop virtual and in-person class schedules for boxers.
• Identify and connect with PD programs, clinics, and neurologists serving PD.
• Build relationships with local groups and display promotional materials.
• Stay informed on PD progression through continuing education.
• Manage gym setup, equipment, and inventory for classes.
• Oversee volunteers and students during visits or observations.
• Partner with Regional Sales Director to implement marketing strategies for RSB.
