Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a part-time Parking Supervisor to oversee parking staff for events in the San Diego area. The role reports to the Parking Manager and offers an hourly rate of $22.00. Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

The position will remain open until 2026-10-23. The Parking Supervisor will maintain core values on property, inspect lots, ensure safe traffic patterns, and support event day operations and signage programs.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2-3+ years of event operations or parking operations experience preferred.
• Must be able to legally operate vehicles.
• Strong customer communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Flexible to work shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends, early mornings, and late nights, outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parking lots several times throughout the day.
• Ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests.
• Assist manager with event day operations of parking lots and traffic flow.
• Assist the Manager with enforcement of the employee parking program.
• Ensure event day checklists are followed & completed for the entirety of the event.
• Ensure the campus is set up and lots are ready for the event.
• Report traffic incidents in lots to the manager.
• Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parking operations.
• Perform inventory management.
• Assist the Manager by gathering information to respond to guest inquiries and investigate complaints / concerns.
• Assisting with the continuous evaluation and adjustment of the pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program.

Position Summary

The Parking Supervisor is generally responsible for supervising parking staff for events in the San Diego area. This position reports to the Parking Manager.

This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• 2-3+ years of previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred .
• Must be able to legally operate vehicles.
• Strong customer communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, early mornings, and late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.
