Miami Parking Authority is seeking a Regular Part-Time Parking Services Technician in Miami, FL. You will patrol off-street facilities, assist customers, and perform light maintenance to support garage and lot operations.

The role requires basic arithmetic, basic computer skills (Excel/Word), and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Work includes directing traffic, cleaning duties, and daily opening/closing of facilities.

Qualifikationen

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Basic arithmetic and ability to keep simple records.
• Ability to use basic computer/tablet tools (Excel/Word).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Patrol off-street facilities, inspect for hazards, and provide customer service.
• Do daily patrols in garages/lots, collect tickets, refill equipment and receipt paper.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment such as pay stations and verifiers.
• Assist with light mechanical repairs and gate maintenance.
• Direct traffic and place parking signs as needed.
• Open/close facilities daily and keep work area clean.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards.
