Parking Services Attendant | Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center

Overview

Oak View Group is a global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services for the live event industry. Our Parking staff are often the first point of contact for guests upon arrival. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests courteously.
  2. Set up parking areas as directed.
  3. Direct traffic into and out of parking areas.
  4. Verify parking passes for VIP areas.
  5. Perform vehicle counts to prevent overfilling.
  6. Control traffic at entrances and exits.
  7. Maintain equipment and perform general maintenance.
  8. Report safety concerns immediately.
  9. Communicate professionally with guests and team members.
  10. Assist guests with parking directions and questions.
Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Must have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle uncooperative or intoxicated persons.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability to high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Valid driver’s license or ID card.
  • Background check clearance.
Additional Information

This is an entry-level, full-time position with an hourly wage of $14.75 to $15.25. Benefits include a 401(k) plan with matching. Applications are accepted continuously; there is no deadline.
