Job Description

This professional parking operations role supports the Manager, Parking Operations in either revenue/reporting or operations. Revenue responsibilities include tracking, analyzing, and reporting income from multiple parking-related sources. Operational duties focus on ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality parking facility performance, customer service, enforcement, and real-time monitoring.

Essential Functions
  • Tracks, reports, and analyzes customer service, revenue collection, and utilization of the Authority's parking facilities and assets.
  • Reconciles and analyzes daily count, utilization, and revenue collection equipment and transaction data and prepares reports and analysis of findings.
  • Conducts detailed field audits of parking facilities and prepares reports and analysis of findings.
  • Conducts audits of parking equipment and checks for equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintains and supports reserved parking, metered parking, bike parking, and other specialty parking programs and products.
  • Coordinates with the appropriate Authority staff to facilitate and resolve customer inquiries about the maintenance and/or maintenance deficiencies of the Authority's parking facilities and parking equipment.
  • Resolves customer permit issues, complaints, and billing disputes as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, or Communications
  • In lieu of Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree and two years of on-the-job training in parking operations may be considered.
  • Minimum of two years of analytical and professional experience in parking operation, revenue collections, customer service, and financial revenue and transaction reporting.
  • Valid driver's license issued by the motor vehicle authority of registered residence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a large complex parking operation with 10,000 or more parking spaces.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience that demonstrates effective and progressive experience in parking operations and revenue collections, customer service, and financial revenue and transaction reporting.
