Job summary

Huntington Place is seeking a Parking Maintenance Technician to maintain parking facilities, operate sweepers and utility vehicles, and assist with event parking logistics. The role reports to the Parking Operations Director and involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities include basic maintenance, driving/operating equipment, helping with traffic flow, and completing nightly reconciliation tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of maintenance or related experience; hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Experience with basic facility maintenance and repair.

• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of revenue control equipment.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of special event parking programs.
• Support gate guarding and parking flow during events and peak periods.
• Complete nightly reports including basic reconciliation tasks.
• Work independently and as part of a team; manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

THE ROLE

The Parking Maintenance Technician is responsible formaintainingparking facilities, equipment, and surrounding areas to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment for guests and staff. Reporting to theParking Operations Director, thisrole supports daily parking operations and special eventsetup.

This position requires hands-on work including operating equipment such as sweepers and utility vehicles, performing basic maintenance and repairs, andassistingwith traffic flow and parkinglogistics. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Parking Facility Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of parking areas to maximize space usage and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Operate parking lot equipment including sweepers and utility vehicles (e.g., Gator).
• Lift, position, and remove barricades to open and close parking areas as needed.
• Perform basic facility and equipment maintenance and repairs.

Equipment Operation & Support

• Operate street sweepers or similar equipment tomaintainparking surfaces.
• Utilize hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of revenue control equipment.

Event & Operations Support

• Assistwith setup and breakdown of special event parking programs.

General Operations

• Basic math skills for completing reports and reconciliations.
