Position Details:

• Location: 2137 Parkwood Avenue, Columbus, OH 43219
• Schedule: Full-time, Night Shift (schedule may vary based on business needs)
• Salary: Starting at $17/hour for non-CDL holders, $18/hour for CDL A/B holders, based on experience

Job Summary:

The Non-CDL Driver operates a Sweeper Truck at shopping and retail centers, performing tasks such as debris removal, trash can emptying, blowing walk areas, and sweeping parking lots. The role requires navigating traffic, being organized, logging information accurately, and frequent entry and exit from the truck during shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-inspection of the Sweeper Truck for safety and operational readiness.
• Review assigned routes and shopping centers.
• Ask questions proactively if routes are unclear.
• Operate the Air Sweeper Truck to remove debris and trash as per customer scope.
• Travel safely between stops, potentially covering up to 13 stops per night.
• Complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain work quality standards.
• Track completed tasks and routes.
• Report equipment issues, near misses, or accidents immediately.
• Refuel the truck at shift end.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License (required).
• CDL A or B with current Medical Card (preferred).
• Willing to obtain DOT Physical (required).
• Pass pre-employment compliance checks.
• Work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
• Exposure to noise, fumes, chemicals, and physical demands including lifting (50+ lbs.), pushing, pulling, and extended standing or driving.
• Good vision and focus, use of safety equipment required.
