Job summary

Meijer, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Cart Attendant to support store operations and customer service. You will assist with cart retrieval, trash collection, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, welcoming store environment across departments.

Responsibilities include aiding service desks and parking areas, coordinating with various departments, and performing other duties as needed. Weekly pay and opportunities for advancement are highlighted in the Meijer Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and communication abilities.
• Ability to lift/move items and operate basic equipment.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced store setting.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
