Oak View Group (OVG) seeks a Parking Lot Attendant for CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore. This part-time role ensures safe, efficient access and parking operations during events, coordinating with security and tour staff to maintain order.

The position emphasizes customer service, adherence to event procedures, and outdoor work in varying weather. Training includes scheduling via Google Docs and Excel; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service/security-based industry is preferred.
• Previous experience within sports, entertainment, or a related field is preferred.
• 70% event availability commitment. Event requirements are subject to change with notice.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain alert, professional, and composed during high-traffic events.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with the use of Google Docs and Excel spreadsheets for scheduling purposes.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Ability to work extended periods with moderate to loud noises.
• Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures that include hot and cold conditions—external and internal facility exposure.
• Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting personal schedules and extending hours to meet event staffing needs.
• Frequent bending, standing for long periods of time, and walking in the building.

Position Summary

The Parking Lot Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency of CFG Bank Arena’s parking areas during events. This position is responsible for controlling vehicle access, verifying tour-approved credentials, monitoring pedestrian entry, and supporting overall operational requirements. Parking Lot Attendants serve as a key communication link with the command center and tour personnel to help ensure a safe and organized environment for the event production teams and staff. This role pays an hourly rate of $22.50
