Job summary

American Heritage Companies in Branson, MO is seeking a Parking Lot Attendant for a seasonal, non-exempt role. This position supports passengers by guiding parking, handling payments, and answering questions about travel while maintaining safety and efficiency in a busy outdoor lot.

You will stand for long periods, work outdoors in all weather, and must communicate clearly in English. Previous cash handling and customer service experience are appreciated; training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to think on your feet, making quick and accurate decisions regarding customer safety and parking.
• Experience in providing excellent customer service to passengers.

• Must be able to effectively communicate in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and courteous first point of contact for passengers upon arrival to our property
• Handle cash and credit card transactions from paid parking lots
• Answer general questions for customers about train departures and travel expectations
• Direct passengers to assigned parking spaces, making sure to fully utilize the limited area of the parking lot and direct passengers to boarding areas
• Close and/or move gates, barricade, safety cones, safety chains, as necessary
• Assist with keeping the parking lot clean of trash, debris
• Fill out appropriate paperwork as required by supervisor/manager
• Communicate with management regarding any safety concerns
• Put your safety and the safety of our guests first and foremost

Job Summary:

The role of the Parking Lot Attendant is to assist passengers with safely and efficiently parking their vehicles in a manner that minimizes risk of damage and capitalizes on the use of limited parking space in our parking lot. This is a fast-paced job that requires a lot of movement and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, and friendly; someone who doesn't mind hard work outdoors, assisting customers in a professional and cheerful manner.
