Job summary

Wegmans is seeking a Front End Customer Service Team member to help customers end their shopping trips with a positive experience. You’ll engage customers in friendly conversation, carefully handle bagged items, and keep the parking lot clear and safe, leaving a lasting impression that turns first-time shoppers into loyal Wegmans customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, preferably in food service, grocery or retail setting.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and interact with customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parking lot appearance and safety, collect carts and pick up litter.
• Engage customers with eye contact and a smile while assisting as needed.
• Proactively offer help or services and thank customers for shopping at Wegmans.
• Provide additional service during inclement weather.
