Job summary

LAZ Parking in Boston, MA is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to perform janitorial and daily upkeep for garages and surface lots. The role interfaces with customers, resolves disputes, and coordinates with other departments.

Responsibilities include cleaning, light maintenance, snow removal, operating a garage floor sweeper, greeting customers, assisting with cashiering, and performing duties on the maintenance checklist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience with general facility maintenance.
• Experience in customer relations.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
• May need a valid driver’s license and be able to operate maintenance vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garages and surface lots daily.
• General maintenance: sweeping, cleaning, trash, lighting, painting.
• Assist with snow removal and winter upkeep.
• Operate maintenance equipment (sweeper, scrubber) as needed.
• Complete daily maintenance checklist efficiently and on time.
• Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues respectfully.
• Provide vehicle assistance to customers in garages and lots.
• Assist customers via intercom, in lobbies, lanes and parking office.
• Promote premier customer service with a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Assist with cashiering functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
