Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with special assignments and projects as requested.
• Meet / exceed monthly citation quota for self & enforcement team.
• Assign staff to patrol routes or areas to enforce parking ordinances.
• Prepare work schedules for adequate coverage during events.
• Monitor field activities and enforce parking regulations.
• Transport officers to assigned areas as required.
• Train staff on parking ordinances and procedures for notices.
• Review work reports and evaluate performance of staff.
• Evaluate number of fee notices and adjust workloads to boost productivity.
• Discuss and resolve field activity issues with staff.
• Prepare productivity reports for management.
• Monitor on-street meters for violations and follow routes.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicles; uphold uniform standards.

The Parking Enforcement Supervisor oversees and leads parking enforcement operations through upholding and enforcing the parking regulations/restrictions of the local parking ordinances.

Principal Job Duties

• Assist with any special assignments and projects as requested.
• Meet / Exceed monthly citation quota for self & enforcement team.
• Makes daily work assignments, assigning staff to patrol specific routes or areas to enforce parking ordinances.
• Prepares work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for special events.
• Monitors field activities by making site visits to ensure proper enforcement of parking regulations and restrictions.
• Transports Parking Enforcement officers to and from assigned patrol areas as required.
• Trains staff on the provisions of parking ordinances and procedures for writing and issuing fee notices for violations.
• Reviews work activity reports and evaluates work performance of subordinate staff.
• Evaluates the number of parking fee notices issued on various routes and makes changes in work assignments to increase productivity.
• Meets with subordinate staff to discuss and resolve problems relating to field activities.
• Prepares productivity reports for management review.
• Monitor on-street parking meters for vehicles in violation of parking ordinances by following an assigned route.
• Maintain and care for all company issued equipment and vehicles.
• Uphold uniform and brand standards.
• Promote and model safe driving techniques.

Education

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Experience

• A minimum of 2-3 years of outdoor work experience is preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Security, military or parking enforcement experience preferred.
