Parking Enforcement Officer

Position: Parking Enforcement Officer - Part-Time

Department: Staunton Police Department

Join a leading accredited law enforcement agency and make a difference in a thriving community. The City of Staunton Police Department is seeking candidates for a Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officer position.

This position is responsible for the following functions/tasks:

1. Enforcing metered parking, customer pick-up, loading, handicapped, fire lane, no-parking zone, and other parking regulations through regular, routine foot patrol activities;
2. Issuing tickets for violations of parking regulations;
3. Providing directions and routine parking information to the public;
4. Maintaining appropriate records.

Qualifications include any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school graduation and some work experience in applying policies and procedures.

Starting hourly rate: $16.29. This is a part-time position with no benefits. The position is OPEN Until Filled.
