ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Parking Cashier in St. Louis, MO to handle cash and electronic payments from parking customers and issue tickets. The role emphasizes friendly, professional service and accurate cash handling in a fast-paced environment.

No formal education is required and on-the-job training is provided. You will greet guests, answer questions, reconcile cash, and support safety and cleanliness on site.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist guests with questions, problems, and concerns.
• Relay issues to shift lead or Operations Manager as needed.
• Provide quick, courteous customer service.
• Follow company procedures and safety regulations.
• Issue and collect visitor parking tickets.
• Match tickets to rates and collect payment with correct change.
• Complete lost ticket forms when tickets cannot be located.
• Reconcile receipts, cash, and charges; account for funds.
• Perform revenue drops following location procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Answer phones promptly when required.
• Report accidents or safety concerns to management.
• Communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Parking Cashier who is responsible for cash and electronic transactions with parking customers.

Responsibilities

• Approach and greets all customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concern
• Relay customer concerns and/or information to shift lead or Operations Manager as necessary
• Is quick and responsive to provide excellent customer service
• Follow all company procedures and complies with all safety regulations
• Issue and/or collect visitor parking tickets
• Match visitor ticket to parking rate schedule; collects proper payment from visitors and distributes correct change
• Complete lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located
• Reconcile receipts, cash, and charges; accurately account for all funds within cashier drawer
• Perform revenue drops following specific location procedures
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area
• Answer telephone in a prompt and courteous manner, when required
• Immediately report accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
• Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates
