InterPark LLC/PreFlight LLC in Chicago is seeking a cashier to provide excellent customer service, process parking fees accurately, and complete daily cashier reports. The role operates on Fri/Sun/Mon 7am-3pm and Tue 3pm-11pm, with a pay rate of $19/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to balance cash drawer and complete reports.

• Willingness to perform light maintenance when needed.
• Uphold cleanliness and inventory monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service to all customers.
• Uses a variety of revenue control systems, completes accurate cashier’s reports, and balances all transactions at the beginning and closing of shift.
• Ensures inventory of operational supplies are at hand and informs manager if restock is needed.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with employees and customers.
• Operates and monitors facility security intercoms and surveillance monitors; remains vigilant for anything unusual and informs management.
• Reports accidents, hazards or maintenance requirements and suspicious activities to a manager.
• Recognize potentially dangerous situations and respond safely.
• Participates in safety and security trainings.
• Performs light garage maintenance duties when directed.
• Maintains a clean work area and processes parking fees and related transactions.
• Ensures sufficient cash change at the start of shift and proper paperwork completion.
• Ensures revenue tickets and coupons are accounted for and hiker’s tickets documented properly.
• May complete garage maintenance or valet operating procedures.
